A THIEF has been in court after stealing from a Tesco supermarket in Hereford.
Lee Donaghey entered a guilty plea to one count of theft from a shop when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford earlier this month.
The court heard from prosecutor Camila Toscano that the 48-year-old had stolen from one of Hereford’s Tesco supermarkets on May 13.
His haul was made up of £50.25 worth of dishwasher tablets.

Donaghey, of Blackfriars Street, Hereford was handed a conditional discharge meaning he will not be sentenced for the offence unless he commits further offences within the next six months.
He was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85, with magistrates saying that they took his guilty plea into account when coming to their decision on the penalty at the hearing on August 14.
He was also told to pay a £26 victim surcharge, but no compensation was ordered to be paid.
