AN ATTACKER has been up before the magistrates after assaulting a man and stealing wine, meat and sweets from Hereford shops.
Megan Haynes entered guilty pleas to two counts of theft from a shop and one count of assault by beating when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford earlier this month.
The court heard from prosecutor Camilla Toscano that the 34-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Chris Read, had assaulted a man in an incident in Hereford on June 1.

She also stole a bottle of wine, a pack of chicken and a pack of Skittles sweets from a Hereford Co-Op shop and a bottle of wine from Marks and Spencer in high town.
Magistrates said that a discount would be applied to Haynes’ sentencing because she had pleaded guilty.
Haynes, of Winslow Road, Bromyard, was fined £120 for each of the three offences, and ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.
