A MAN has been remanded in custody making a menacing phone call and harassing a woman.
David Styles broke a restraining order by contacting a woman he has been banned from seeing or speaking to since 2016, and also made a grossly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing call.
Styles, 40, of Coningsby Street, Hereford appeared before magistrates in Hereford on August 12.
He entered a guilty plea to one count of harassment by breaching a restraining order and one count of caused to be sent by public communication network an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message.

Hereford Magistrates’ Court heard that Styles had harassed his victim between January 1 and June 17, and made the phone call on June 26.
He has not been granted bail to allow for inquiries to be made and to determine the most suitable method of dealing with the case. He was remanded in custody because of his previous record and character and because of the seriousness of the offence, magistrates said.
Styles will appear in court for sentencing on September 2.
