A FUEL thief has been up before the magistrates after stealing diesel from local forecourts several times.
Stella Hunt entered guilty pleas to three counts of making off without payment when she appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster earlier this month, on August 8.
This is an offence under sections three and four of the Theft Act 1978.
The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service solicitor Camila Toscano that the 32-year-old had stolen diesel worth £221.64 in total from fuel stations in Leominster and Malvern between January 6 and January 30.

Hunt, of Aylestone Hill, Hereford, was handed a conditional discharge for 12 months, and ordered to pay compensation to the garages.
The conditional discharge means that she has not been sentenced for the offences at this time.
Represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Nick Roberts of Kieran and Co Solicitors, Hunt now must pay a total of £313.08 to the fuel stations she stole from.
