AN OFFENDER has been handed points on his driving licence after he was caught breaking the law in Herefordshire.
Oluwaseun Adebayo was sentenced to a fine of £220 and three penalty points in his absence at Worcester Magistrates’ Court after he was convicted of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and failing to comply with solid white line road markings at a hearing earlier this month.

The court heard from prosecutor David Whittaker of West Mercia Police that the 30-year-old had been caught out after getting behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Insignia on the A4103 in Fromes Hill on January 24.
His licence did not authorise him to drive this motor vehicle, and he was caught failing to comply with the road markings, magistrates in Worcester were told.
As well as the fine and points, Adebayo was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £110 and a victim surcharge of £88.
