A WOMAN caught drink-driving in Herefordshire has been banned from the roads.
Vicki Davies, aged 42, was over the alcohol limit when she was driving a red Renault Clio in Uplands, Bishops Frome, on June 8.
In a hearing earlier this month, Hereford Magistrates’ Court was told that she was breathalysed to check her alcohol level.
Her breath sample read 42 micrograms (mg) of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 mg.

Davies, of Uplands, pleaded guilty to driving while above the legal alcohol limit.
As well as banning her from driving for 12 months, magistrates imposed a fine of £120. They also ordered her to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £48 victim surcharge. She has until next month to settle her court bill.
Davies has been given the opportunity to complete a drink-driving awareness course by March next year to reduce her ban by 12 weeks.
