A DRUG-DRIVER was caught behind the wheel in Herefordshire when she was over 16 times the limit.
Elizabeth Edwards, 45, of South Street, Leominster, had 800 micrograms (mg) of benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, in her blood when police stopped her in the town’s Ryelands Grove.
The limit for benzoylecgonine is 50 mg.
She was also found to be over the cocaine limit, with 32 micrograms in her blood when the limit is 10.
She was driving a silver Peugeot 207 in Ryelands Grove on February 25 when she was caught, said prosecutor Camila Toscano.

She admitted the offences and entered two guilty pleas before Hereford Magistrates’ Court.
Her guilty pleas were taken into account by magistrates when they imposed her sentence.
Magistrates disqualified Edwards from driving for 12 months for each offence and fined her £120. She also has to pay court costs of £85 and a £48 victim surcharge.
