A DRUG-DRIVER caught out while over twice the limit in Herefordshire has been banned from the roads.
Carl Barlow, 51, entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the drug limit when appearing before magistrates in Hereford last month.
The court heard from prosecutor Nadine Mathurasingh that Barlow had been caught out in Ledbury’s Kipling Road after getting behind the wheel of a red Vauxhall Astra while over the drug-driving limit on January 9.

An evidential blood test revealed that Barlow had 108 micrograms (mg) of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 mg.
Barlow, of Manor Fields, Burghill, was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
The 51-year-old was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £26 victim surcharge.
