A DRUG-DRIVER was caught behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta in Hereford when he was over the limit.
Daniel Goodall, 45, of Innisfield, Clehonger, had 12 micrograms of cocaine and 391 micrograms of benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, in his blood when police stopped him in Dormington Drive in Hereford on February 3.
The limits are 10 and 50 micrograms respectively.
Camila Toscano, prosecuting at Hereford Magistrates’ Court in July, said Goodall had also been driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Goodall entered guilty pleas to two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, one count of driving while disqualified and one count of using a motor vehicle on a road without third-party insurance.
Goodall was remanded on unconditional bail and handed an interim driving disqualification. He will be sentenced on August 27. The probation service was ordered to prepare a pre-sentence report ahead of the next hearing.
