HEREFORDSHIRE freemasons have recently launched a community volunteering initiative which has contributed towards two volunteering events already.

The initiative itself aims to complement their existing financial support for various charities throughout the county, such as members of the Caeruleum Club actively supporting several St Michael's Hospice events.

The Caeruleum Club is intended for newer freemasons within Herefordshire and aims to support the community while also organising social and educational events.

Herefordshire freemasons marshalled five checkpoints throughout the town centre of Hereford for the Venus Midnight Walk, in aid of St Michael's Hospice, and supported the Sue Parry Sports Festival by helping to marshal the car park alongside regular volunteers for the hospice.

These events mark just the beginning of their new programme of volunteering.

The programme will engage Herefordshire freemasons in ‘hands-on’ volunteer work, allowing them to contribute their time and skills directly to community projects. A further two more events are already in place with more currently being finalised.

The initiative is expected to cover a wide range of activities, from supporting local charities to participating in community events.

This new programme highlights the spirit of community engagement in Herefordshire, with many charities working to make a positive impact on local lives. For more information on Freemasonry in Herefordshire, visit the Province of Herefordshire website or the Caeruleum Club's.
