A NEW cafe has opened in a Herefordshire village.
Marden Village Stores and Post Office has unveiled its new eatery, which will be opening 8.30am to 5pm on Monday through to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
The cafe sports a classy, retro look with plush, brown and grey art-deco seating. Authentic burgundy diner-style stools line a grey granite bar, giving locals ample space to relax with a cup of coffee or tuck into a full-English.

The cafe is being run by Zena and Les Legge, who previously operated Queenswood Arboretum Cafe before it closed at the end of February.
The Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, which manages the arboretum, wider woodland, visitor centre and all other facilities on the site, in partnership with New Leaf Sustainable Development, then took over from Mr and Mrs Legge in April.
The trust said it plans to introduce sustainable practices in the café as it has done elsewhere across Queenswood, including sourcing over 70 per cent of all food and drink from local suppliers, using plant-based packaging and reducing waste.
