A DRUG-driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught out while over the limit in Herefordshire.
Ashley Macey entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the drug limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in November.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 28-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Marilena Di Vitantonio, had been caught out in Summer House Pitch, Ross-on-Wye, after getting behind the wheel of a black Seat Cupra while over the drug-driving limit on July 2.

An evidential blood test revealed that he had 2.3 microgrammes of controlled class B drug cannabis product per litre of blood. The legal limit is two microgrammes.
Macey, of Old Dean Road, Mitcheldean, was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months, with magistrates saying that they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £48 victim surcharge.
