WHAT a wonderful bunch of people live in Bodenham.

On October 22, our car got stuck in water on a flooded road near Bodenham. After leaving the car and attempting to walk to the village through a muddy field, we met Lulu the dog’s mum.

When we told her of our plight she immediately phoned round local people she knew with tractors.

Soon after, the wonderful Barry (he’s a legend) turned up in his tractor and towed our car to dry land with the help of another local man who was out walking in his wellies with his daughter and dog.

They then moved on to tow more cars out of water. Thank you to them all. It restored my faith in mankind.
