AN ATTACKER who caused actual bodily harm in an assault on a woman in Herefordshire has been handed a contact ban by magistrates.
Michael Tyson appeared before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing in October after he was found guilty of one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at an earlier hearing.

The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 43-year-old had assaulted a woman, causing her actual bodily harm, in an incident in Herefordshire on July 14, 2021.
Tyson, of Rudhall View in Lea, Ross-on-Wye, was handed a two-year community order and fined £100 for the offence.
He was also handed a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting the victim directly or indirectly or visiting an address in the Ross-on-Wye area.
Tyson was further ordered to pay prosecution costs of £350 and a £95 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
