A HEREFORDSHIRE shop started selling Christmas decorations three months before the big day.
Baileys DIY in Ross-on-Wye is one of the first independent shops in the county to deck out its shelves with tinsel and baubles.
Photos taken of the shop show several aisles overflowing with tonnes of red, gold and green items perfect for the festive season.

Many of those who came across the offerings expressed excitement at the first signs of Christmas and were impressed that the shop was already bringing the festive spirit.
One Shopper, Declan Reed, said Bailey’s was “definitely worth a trip before Christmas” while others took to the business’ social media comments to exclaim “It’s time!” and “Got to go here!”

A spokesperson for Baileys DIY said: “Bailey’s started in Abergavenny over 50 years ago. The family opened in Ross-on-Wye in 2013, taking over what had been the old Focus DIY building on the outskirts of the town, just off junction 4 of the M50.
“In addition to its huge DIY range the store also offers an amazing selection of affordable goods for every season.
"Right now of course it’s Christmas trees, decorations, and gifts.”
