A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been handed a suspended prison sentence for breaking into a shop and pharmacy in Leominster.
Christopher Murphy, of Foster Crescent, Leominster, pleaded guilty to stealing £2,525 worth of clothes from the Original Factory Shop in the town's Broad Street between July 15 and 17.
The 32-year-old, who appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on September 1, admitted to taking a silver Dell laptop and £140 in cash from Westfield Walk Pharmacy on August 12.

On the same date, Murphy, who was was represented by Chris Reid, was charged with being in possession of cocaine, which he also pleaded guilty to.
For the thefts, magistrates handed him a six month suspended sentence lasting 18 months. This includes four months for the shop break in, and two months for the pharmacy burglary.
For the drug offence, Murphy was handed a three week suspended prison sentence.
Magistrates also fined him £1402.50 and told him to undertake a drug rehabilitation programme lasting 12 months.
