THIS is a plea to tidy our city up.

We all hold a very strong desire to improve the appearance of our city.

There are numerous redundant signs, flyers and posters littering our town. I fully appreciate the purpose and need to advertise forthcoming events, but please, kindly remove the out-of-date advertising material, not forgetting the black plastic ties used to attach the mini-posters to railings or lamp posts.
