The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 54-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Chris Read, had been in possession of a quantity of controlled class B drug cannabis with intent to supply it to others in Ross-on-Wye on February 2 last year.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Ward, of Purland, Ross-on-Wye, was released on unconditional bail ahead of her next hearing.
She will appear before magistrates in Hereford next for sentencing on August 15.
