A BANNED driver was caught out in Herefordshire after getting behind the wheel of a Ford.
Michael Johnson entered guilty pleas to one count of driving while disqualified, one count of driving a vehicle without a valid test certificate, and one count of using a handheld mobile phone or device while driving on a road when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in July.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 36-year-old had driven a Ford Ranger on the B4222 at Aston Ingham near Ross-on-Wye while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence on November 3.

Johnson, of Victoria Road, Coleford, was fined a total of £600 and received six penalty points for the offences.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £240 victim surcharge.
