The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 39-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Marilena Di Vitantonio, had been caught behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Movano van on the M50 motorway at Ledbury in Herefordshire while over the drug-driving limit on March 16.
An evidential blood test revealed that he had 770 microgrammes of controlled class A drug cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine in per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.
Dale, of Langdale Road, Stourport-on-Severn, was fined £80 and disqualified from driving for 16 months. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £32 victim surcharge.
