A COMMUNITY bus service has announced that it will introduce a new timetable from next month.
The Daffodil line connects the Herefordshire market towns of Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye, as well as transporting passengers to the nearby Gloucestershire town of Newent.
Details of the new timetable are yet to be revealed but are due to come into force from 2 July onwards.
The bus service, which launched in April, currently operates every two hours, seven days a week with some evening services.
The route travels from Ledbury to Ross-on-Wye via Much Marcle, Dymock, Newent, Gorsley and Upton Bishop.

It starts from Ledbury Railway Station before stopping at the town’s Market Hall and Deer Park. It then stops at Glebe Orchard, Dymock Church, Newent Lake car park, Gorsley School and Old Gore Cross before arriving at Cantilupe Road in Ross.
Ticket prices range from £1 to £3, and concessionary passes are accepted.
It is operated by DRM Bus, a contract that was secured after a local campaign by community action group Buses 4 Us.
Buses 4 Us chair Clare Stone said Ross, Ledbury and Newent had always been well connected with public transport for as long as she could remember, until last year commuters were “devastated” by cuts to the Stagecoach service from Gloucester to Ledbury via Newent.
The Daffodil line has confirmed that upcoming changes to its timetable will be minimal.
