A HEREFORDSHIRE thief was caught driving without a licence or insurance, a court has heard.
Michelle Impey entered guilty pleas to one count of theft from a shop, one of driving without a licence, and one of driving without insurance when she appeared before magistrates in Worcester in May.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 37-year-old had stolen meat products worth £45 from BP in Malvern Road, Worcester, on March 27.

She had also been caught out after getting behind the wheel of a blue Mini in Worcester's Toladine Road on April 14, with checks revealing that she did not have a driving licence or a valid insurance policy in place.
Impey, of Croft Street in Leominster, was fined a total of £160 and ordered to pay compensation of £45 to BP, with magistrates saying they had taken her guilty plea into account when deciding on the penalty.
She was also handed six penalty points and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £64 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
