A HEREFORDSHIRE pub is gearing up to host another Bright Nights drag night after the 'phenomenal' success of the first event.

Bright Nights kicked off at the Royal Oak in Much Marcle on May 13, with regular shows planned.

Hannah Slade, who runs the pub, said she was very excited that the venture was coming to Herefordshire, following its huge success at her previous pub.

Ms Slade, who said the event offers a safe and secure environment for those in the LGBTQ+ community and a fabulous night out for everyone (over the age of 18), said the May event was sold out within two weeks of releasing tickets, and that it was 'phenomenal'.

"A fabulous performance from 'Josefeela Ma Hunt', and a fantastic crowd," she said.

Bright Nights' next drag cabaret night, which promises a night filled with fun and laughter, but is not for the faint-hearted or easily offended, will be held at the pub on July 15.

Tickets for the event, featuring 'Heidi Wurst', are selling fast and are available on Skiddle.
