A MAN appeared in court this week charged with being drunk and disorderly outside a Hereford nightclub.
Danut Latcu, aged 42, of Hunderton Road, pleaded guilty to the offence which happened at around 3.40am on April 16.
Mark Hambling, prosecuting at Hereford Magistrates Court, said police officers attended after reports a man was being unruly.
"Police spoke to Mr Latcu and state that he had been drinking and was slurring his speech," said Mr Hambling.
"He was asked to leave the area but he didn't. After multiple requests, he moved some five metres away and sits down.

"Police arrested him for failing to leave the area and that he was drunk and disorderly."
Representing himself, Latcu, who works at a car wash, said he had drunk about five or six beers but doesn't usually drink alcohol. He added that he did not understand what was going on.
Latuc was given a conditional discharge for six months because of his previous good character and that he pleaded guilty at the first opportunity.
Magustrates said that he would have faced a fine of around £100 to £150.
Latcu does have to pay court costs of £135 though, as well as a £26 victim surcharge.
