A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a crash near Hereford this afternoon (Friday).
Emergency services were called to the A438 at Staunton-on-Wye at around 3.50pm. A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said that the crash involved two vehicles, and an ambulance attended the scene.

No arrests have been made, added the spokesperson. One of the vehicles is due to be recovered.
According to traffic monitoring site, Inrix, the A438 ended up being partially blocked both ways, with the crash happening near the Bredwardine turn off.
It has affected traffic between Eardisley and Bridge Sollers.
