AN "EXCITING" development opportunity has been put up for sale in a Herefordshire town.
The plot of land to the rear of Albion Chambers in Ross-on-Wye's Old Gloucester Road is on the market with agents Hamilton Stiller with a guide price of £145,000.
The agents said the freehold land comes with detailed planning permission to build five 'attractive and self-contained' one-bed apartments over three floors.

Two of the planned apartments will have balconies, while the two ground floor units would have courtyards.
The plans are for a red brick faced building with feature blue brick sills and azure colour coated aluminium windows under a slate roof, Hamilton Stiller said, with full details available for browsing on the Herefordshire Council planning portal website.
Bicycle cover and bin storage has also been designed, the agents said.
"Please note the vendor is renewing the planning application for a sale to proceed," the agents said.
The site is within a short walk of the town centre, which offers a variety of national chain and independent shops, GP surgeries, and a community hospital.
