AN ACCUSED man has been sent for trial after denying assault and criminal damage charges.
Christian White denied one count of assault by beating and one count of causing criminal damage to property valued under £5,000 when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in March.
He admitted one count of failing to surrender to bail at the appointed time.
The court heard from prosecutor Owen Beale that the 49-year-old is accused of assaulting a woman by beating in Ledbury on November 24.

He is also accused of intentionally or recklessly damaging a Dell laptop worth around £2,000 and belonging to the same woman in Ledbury on the same date.
He admitted failing to surrender to custody at Hereford Magistrates' Court on March 22 having been released on bail in criminal proceedings from Hereford's police station on February 20.
White, of Aylton, Ledbury, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge for failing to surrender to bail and was ordered to pay a £26 victim surcharge.
He was sent for trial on the other two charges and will appear before magistrates in Hereford next on May 4.
