FIREFIGHTERS from three stations were called to a blaze in a Herefordshire agricultural building overnight.
Two crews from Ross-on-Wye and one from both Whitchurch and Fownhope fire stations were called to a building fire at The Downs, Ross-on-Wye, just before 11pm last night (April 2).
The B4221 was closed and police were also on scene after the blaze took hold.
A fire service spokesperson said the incident involved an agricultural building which was well alight, measuring around 30m by 11m.
"The building was 50 per cent destroyed by fire," the spokesperson said.
The fire was fought using three main jets of compressed air foam, two compressed air foam hosereel jets and two hosereel jets.
