A MANOR house in Hereford is set to go to auction next month with a guide price of just £250,000.

The Manor, in Hereford's Lower Bullingham Lane, is on the market with agents SDL Property Auctions.

Most recently used as a 23-bed residential care home, the property is within a mile of Hereford city centre and offers a generous plot with outbuildings and development potential, the agents said.

"The original part of The Manor reportedly dates back to the 1500s and has been added to and extended significantly over the years," SDL Property Auction said.

"It offers a multitude of options subject to any necessary consents for an investor or developer to add value, generate a healthy return on their investment and a very generous income."

Hereford Times:

The agents said that the characterful property could be returned to a substantial family home, a care facility, or split into apartments or individual homes, subject to planning.

The National Property Auction will be broadcast live on the SDL Property Auctions website on April 27 and open to remote bidding online, on the phone and by proxy.

Registration for bidding will close at 5pm the day before the auction.

The auction will commence at 10am.
