AN UNINSURED and unlicensed Herefordshire driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught behind the wheel on a busy main road.
Gkoiart Ntonta entered a guilty plea to one count of driving without third party insurance and one count of driving without a licence when he appeared before magistrates in Newport in March.

The court heard that the 21-year-old had been caught out after getting behind the wheel of a Ford Focus without a driving licence or a valid insurance policy in place on the A449 at Raglan in Monmouthshire on October 26.
Ntonta, of Market Place in Ross-on-Wye, was fined £440 for the offences and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months, with magistrates saying disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £176 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
