There are not believed to be any serious injuries, the spokesperson said, but the lorry is blocking the carriageway.
A fire service spokesperson said crews from Ledbury, Malvern, and Droitwich fire stations are on scene after they were called out just before 7pm to assist police with making the scene safe.
One casualty is being assessed by paramedics, the fire service spokesperson said, while the road remains blocked.
Traffic data from Google Maps shows there are delays in the area, with traffic queueing in both directions.
West Mercia Police asked drivers to avoid the area.
