AN ACCUSED Hereford man has been sent for trial after denying causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage to a car in the city.
Edward Kendrick appeared before magistrates in Hereford in March accused of one count of causing criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Eleanor Peart that the 21-year-old defendant is accused of, without lawful excuse, recklessly or intentionally damaging a vehicle wing mirror to the value of £711.74 in Hereford's Grandison Rise on August 15.

Kendrick, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor George Cousins, entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
The case was sent for trial and Kendrick, of Grandison Rise, Hereford, was released on unconditional bail ahead of his next hearing.
He will appear before magistrates at Hereford's Bath Street Justice Centre for trial on May 15.
