FLOOD alerts have been issued for rivers across Herefordshire as levels rise due to recent rainfall and snowmelt.
Alerts are currently in force for the rivers Wye, Arrow, Frome, and Lugg.
River Wye
The Environment Agency said river levels are rising at the Hay-On-Wye river gauge, with flooding of roads and farmland is expected to begin tomorrow morning, March 13.
Flooding is expected to affect low lying land and roads along the Wye from Hay on Wye to Ross on Wye. Other locations that may be affected include the A438, Byford, Bredwardine & Hereford.
The river is expected to peak between 2.6m and 3.1m overnight on March 13 in Hay, at 4m to 4.5m at the Old Bridge in Hereford on March 14,, Ross on Wye and at 3.5m to 4m at Ross-on-Wye on March 14.
River Frome
River levels have risen at the Bishops Frome, with flooding of roads and farmland possible this morning, March 13.
Flooding is expected to affect low lying land and roads along the River Frome from Bromyard to Hereford. Other locations that may be affected include Bishops Frome and Yarkhill

River Arrow
River levels have risen at the Titley Mill river gauge and flooding of roads and farmland is expected to begin overnight tonight.
Flooding is expected to affect low lying land and roads along the River Arrow from Michaelchurch to Brierley. Other areas that may be affected include Kington, Staunton and Eardisland.
River Lugg
River levels are forecast to rise at the Lugwardine river gauge, and flooding of roads and farmland is possible from early tomorrow morning.
Flooding is expected to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop.
