A HEREFORDSHIRE girl has beaten off competition from across the country to win a semi-finals place in the Miss Junior Teen Great Britain 2023 competition.

Annaliese Ashcroft, from Sutton St Nicholas in Herefordshire, is one of 22 entrants from across Great Britain to make it to the semi-finals in this year's contest.

Competitors are vying for the crown in a spectacular grand final, while the winner of Miss Junior Teen Great Britain will walk away with some incredible prizes – including a cash prize.

Annaliese, who is 14 and home schooled, said she is so excited to have made it to the semi-final after entering the competition to try something new and for the new opportunities it could offer.

"It is such an amazing opportunity, and I’m excited to see what the future holds," Annaliese said.

The grand final of the Miss Junior Teen Great Britain competition will be held in Blackpool later this year, with a fun-filled weekend for finalists, including a beauty queen challenge day, a pyjama diva party, and more.

"Making it to the grand final would be such a huge deal for me, so fingers crossed I will be able to represent my hometown and win the Miss Junior Teen Great Britain crown," Annaliese said.
