AN ACCUSED man has appeared before magistrates over allegations of sexual assault.

Stephen Headland appeared before magistrates in Hereford in February accused of five counts of sexual assault.

Hereford Times:

The court heard from prosecutor Eleanor Peart that the 32-year-old is accused of intentionally sexually touching a woman without their consent and when he did not reasonably believe they were consenting in Worcester on August 7, 2021 and in Hereford on November 6, 2021.

He is accused of committing the same offence on a second woman in Hereford on September 24, 2021.

OTHER NEWS:

He is also accused of committing the same offence on a third woman in Hereford on two occasions on November 6, 2021.

Headland did not enter a plea to any of the charges at the hearing.

The case was adjourned to be heard by a district judge and Headland, of Courtfield Road in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire, was released on unconditional bail.

He will appear before a district judge in Kidderminster on March 1.
