MORE Herefordshire speeders have been fined by magistrates after they were caught breaking the limit.

Christopher Hull entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Worcester.

The court heard that the 52-year-old had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a Mini in a 30 miles per hour zone on the A417 at Ashperton on June 26.

Hull, of Coombe Road in Wotton-under-Edge, was fined £146 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pay costs of £90 and a £58 victim surcharge.

Darren Attard entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Worcester.

The court heard that the 51-year-old Volkswagen driver had been caught speeding in a 70 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Ganarew on April 23.

Attard, of Talygarn, Pontyclun, was fined £240, and received six penalty points. He was also ordered to pay costs of £110 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Russell Catley entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Lavender Hill.

The court heard that the 57-year-old had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a BMW in a 20 miles per hour zone on the A402 Bayswater Road in Paddington, London, on June 19.

Catley, of Hampton Park Road, Hereford, was fined £146 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pay costs of £90 and a £58 victim surcharge.
