Emergency crews were called to the B4214 Tenbury Road at Bromyard at 8.30pm last night (February 1) after receiving reports of a crash.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said two engines from Bromyard fire station were sent to the scene.

On arrival, they found a car had crashed into a tree on the busy road between Bromyard and Tenbury Wells.

A woman was trapped in the crashed car, and fire crews worked to rescue her from the vehicle by cutting off its roof.
