AN ACCUSED Hereford man has been sent to the crown court over child pornography allegations.

Duncan Abrams appeared before magistrates in Hereford in January accused of one count of making an indecent photograph of a child.

Hereford Times:

The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Eleanor Peart that the 64-year-old defendant is accused of making six indecent category A images of children in Hereford between February 28, 2020 and October 21, 2020.

OTHER NEWS:

Category A is the most serious category of images.

Abrams, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor George Cousins, did not enter a plea to the charge at the hearing.

The case was sent to the crown court and Abrams, who is of Holmer Street in Hereford, was released on unconditional bail ahead of his next hearing.

He will appear before Worcester Crown Court next for a plea and trial preparation hearing on February 10.
