A DRINK-driver has been banned from the roads for three years after he was caught out in a busy Hereford street.
Jason Boucher entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in January.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 52-year-old had been caught out in Hereford's Whitecross Road after getting behind the wheel of a blue Ford Fiesta while over the drink-drive limit on December 13.
An evidential breath test revealed he had 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Boucher, who is of Chisel Close in Hereford, was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months and fined £200 for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £100.
He was offered the opportunity to complete the drink-driving rehabilitation course, which will reduce his ban by 36 weeks if successfully completed.
