A PIECE of land with "huge potential" is up for sale in a Herefordshire beauty spot.
The land, in Symonds Yat, is on the market with agents Hamilton Stiller for a guide price of £125,000.
The agents said the sale offers a "rare opportunity to acquire a piece of undeveloped land opposite the river Wye".
The land, which Hamilton Stiller said measures approximately one sixth of an acre (not measured), is currently populated with deciduous trees and bushes.
It is set in Ferrie Lane, and is about halfway between Ye Old Ferrie Inn and the Saracens Head Inn, where hand-pulled ferries have crossed the Wye for many years.
Hamilton Stiller said the land is on both sides of Ferrie Lane and extends to the banks of the river Wye.

"We understand no planning has been applied for, buyers wishing to purchase will be expected to purchase ahead of applying for planning," the agents said.
"Please visit the Whitchurch and Ganarew parish website for planning information. We are informed by the vendor this land falls within the "Settlement area". Buyers should investigate at their own costs the potential of this site."
The agents said the land has "huge potential".
Symonds Yat, long a popular spot on the river Wye, has attracted tourists for generations.
More recently, it has found renewed fame as a filming location for the Netflix drama, Sex Education.
Arguably the most famous property featured in the series is Otis and Jean Milburn's statement-red three-story home, which can be found in Symonds Yat.
The 100-year-old house boasts traditional Norwegian-inspired architecture, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large conservatory and two living rooms that overlook the balconies, with one offering picturesque views of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.
The TV-famous chalet is available to rent for woodland retreats, with a four-night minimum stay costing £2,995, and was valued at £2,927,925 in 2021, according to WeThrift.
