A HEREFORDSHIRE wedding venue has been listed as one of the best for winter in the UK.

From castles to courts and everything in between, national wedding magazine Hitched has rounded up some enchanting wintery wedding venues for a frosty celebration.

Dewsall Court, found off the Callow between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, has come in at fourth place among the 12 listed.

The wedding venue sits in the heart of the idyllic Herefordshire countryside.

The 17th century estate has been restored and refurbished.

The extensive estate offers a range of uniquely designed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms to host up to 27 guests.

The Wainhouse, is a converted barn with custom bar and dance floor, mature gardens with incredible views over the Black Mountains, stunning conservatory, and our secret cellar room with its own private bar.

"You couldn't get more quintessentially British if you tried," said a spokesperson from Hitched.

For the traditional couples there is a charming ancient church just a short stroll from Dewsall Court, said the magazine.

After vows couples can head back along the lane to the rustic, oak-beamed grade II listed property to dance the night away, it said.
