Leominster Osteopaths is celebrating one year of helping patients with their foot health.
The firm, in Westbury Street, said it has been 12 months since its in-house foot health practioner Stacey Gardner joined and started helping customers with routine toenail cutting and regular diabetic foot care checks and others with other problems such as thickened nails, corns and calluses that are causing discomfort.
Ms Gardner said feet are one of the hardest working parts of the human body, but they are also one of the most neglected.
“Looking after your feet is important through all stages of life,” she said.
“Good foot health will help avoid problems and deformities in later life, and as we get older, everyday wear and tear can take its toll.”
The role of a foot health practitioner is to care and maintain the health of feet, and the firm offers free of charge consultations for anybody unsure of
problems with their feet and nails.
If a problem is outside Ms Gardner’s remit, she will give advice on where to seek help.
