A HEREFORDSHIRE care home has marked a special day with an event to bring people together and put smiles on people's faces.
Residents and staff at Leominster Bupa care home in Bargates, recently marked Silver Sunday – the national day that celebrates the older generation, coming together and connecting with the community around them to help boost wellbeing.
The celebrations, organised by the activities team at the home, included an afternoon tea, followed by a performance from a local band, Bodenham Brass.
To create as much of a memorable celebration as possible, the team at the Bupa care home also hosted special guest Trish Marsh, the mayor of Leominster, alongside families and friends of the residents.
