Allensmore Nurseries, near Hereford, has been named "grower of the year" by the Horticultural Trades Association.

The Horticultural Trades Association has been the trade body for the UK gardening industry since 1899, representing, garden centres, plant nurseries, landscapers and garden manufacturers.

Nominated by customers for product quality and excellent service the award also recognises Allensmore Nurseries environmental and people credentials, areas of the business that bosses say are central to the ethos and culture of the organisation.
