A HEREFORDSHIRE man has spoken about the day he met the Queen, just weeks after he took part in a major royal event to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.
Anthony Snell, who co-owns and runs a fruit farm in Harewood End with his wife Christine, met the Queen on her trip to Hereford on July 11, 2012 as part of her Jubilee tour of the UK to celebrate 60 years on the throne.
Mr Snell had been part of the crew of the Wye Trow boat that had represented the county at the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant the previous month.
The boat, known as the Hereford Bull, is now on display at Brockhampton Estate, near Bromyard.
