A HEREFORDSHIRE woman has escaped a roads ban due to the hardship it would cause to family and job loss fears.
Rachel Mellings appeared before magistrates in Hereford after entering a guilty plea.
The court heard the 35-year-old had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel in a 70 miles per hour zone on the M4 in Gloucestershire on November 7, 2020.

Mellings, of Well Gardens, Leominster, was fined £101 and received three penalty points and must pay costs of £110 and a £34 victim surcharge.
No totting disqualification was made as this would cause hardship to a family member, who she takes to appointments and shopping, and it would result in a loss of employment.
