MEMBERS of Ross-on- Wye Golf Club have raised more than £1,500 for a county charity.
The money was donated to the County Air Ambulance after it was nominated by the ladies section of the golf club as their charity of the year.
The money was raised at various events and was presented to the flight crew when members of the committee visited the Strensham airbase.
Wilma MacNamara, ladies captain for 2007, said: "We are delighted to present a donation to ensure the helicopter continues to serve our communities."
