FIRE crews freed a man at Pontrilas Timber who trapped his hand in a nail machine last Friday (28/03/08).
The machine was switched off but his hand was still trapped.
Crews from Ewyas Harold and Peterchurch attended the scene just after 12pm and spent around an hour releasing the man.
He was taken to Hereford County Hospital by air ambulance.
