THE champagne corks were popping in Almeley as one special couple celebrated 70 years of marriage.
Albert and Enid Davies, 94 and 92 respectively, were surrounded by their family and friends to mark their platinum anniversary.
Along with many cards and presents, the couple were also delighted with another telegram from Her Majesty - their third.
As a surprise for the couple, family members from Holland visited the couple at their home, along with friends and neighbours.
