A HEREFORDSHIRE woman has been up before the magistrates accused of carrying a knife in an Aldi car park.

Hazel Oliver entered not guilty pleas to magistrates in Merthyr Tydfil.

The court heard the 38-year-old is accused of possessing a kitchen knife in Aldi car park in Brecon without good reason or lawful authority on June 24.

She is also accused of assaulting two police officers in Brecon by beating on June 29.

Oliver, of Orchard Close, Sutton St Nicholas, was remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates in Merthyr Tydfil next on August 9.
